Robert William Keifer Marshall III, 58, formerly of Temple, Texas, died Sunday, July 12, 2009. He was born September 24, 1950 in Temple, Texas and was a graduate of Temple High School, where he was three year letterman in football. He was an Eagle Scout and he received a BBA degree from The University of Texas and was a member of the 1970 National Championship football team. He is survived by his two sons Rob Marshall and his wife Christina Marshall of Temple, Texas, Pat Marshall of Austin, Texas; his step-daughter Kim Combs and her husband Patrick Combs of Louisville, Kentucky; his mother and father Sammie and Keifer Marshall Jr. both of Temple, Texas; two grandchildren, Keifer Marshall V and Lily Marshall, both of Temple, Texas and two step-grandchildren, Jessica Wilson and Isabella Combs both of Louisville, Kentucky. Services will take place Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Christ Episcopal Church, 300 North Main Street, Temple, Texas. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple, Texas. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Christ Episcopal Church School 300 North Main Street Temple, Texas 76501.
