Les Wayne Rash, Sr., age 50, of Eddy died Thursday, July 20, 2006 at his residence. Services and burial will be held at a later date. Mr. Rash was born November 4, 1955 in Sacramento, California to James Lester and Margie Lois Travis Rash. He had been a resident of the Eddy area for the past 14 years. He worked as a drywaller for Williams Drywall in Waco. He had done the drywall work on President and Mrs. Bush's ranch house. He was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by one son, Les Wayne Rash, Jr. on November 1, 2005. Survivors include his wife, Hydi Sutherland-Rash of Eddy, daughter, Samantha Rash of Austin, three stepsons, Justin Farrill of Longview, David Jackson of Belton, Dwayne Sutherland of Eddy and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Jimmy Rash of Pendleton, Donny Rash of Temple, one sister, Cathy Sapp of New Orleans and a stepbrother, Russell Whitehead of Morgan's Point.
