Funeral services for Lillian M. "Cissy" Cripe will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Dr. Don Lynn officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Cripe died Thursday in a Temple Hospital. Mrs. Cripe was born December 6, 1944, in Temple to Robert Zehr and Helen Pirtle Zehr. She lived in Indiana and Waco before returning to Temple in 1975. She married James L. Cripe July 7, 1972. She received a Bachelors Degree in History and Sociology from Mary Hardin Baylor. She and her husband owned and operated Valet Cleaners in Temple for thirty five years. She was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include her husband James L. Cripe of Temple; two sons Allan Cripe and Daniel Cripe both of Temple; two daughters Kelli Nelson and Debbie Farrell both of Temple; two sisters Bobbye Chlapek of Temple and Micki Rundell of Georgetown and thirteen grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Christian Church. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sunday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
