A visitation will take place on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, Texas 76504.
A private family graveside service will take place at Temple Garden of Memories in Temple.
Lois retired after many years as a payroll supervisor for Scott and White Hospital in Temple. She is survived by her children, Melvin, "Mickey" McDaniel, Jr. of Chatham, Illinois, Judy Knox and husband Jerry of Holland, Texas, and Marvin J. McDaniel of Texas, 3 grandchildren, Lisa Wilson and husband Timothy of Orlando, Florida, Tobie Preston and husband Jeff of Chatham, Illinois, and Jason and wife Amy Knox of Holland, Texas, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Lois was preceded in death by her grandson J.D. Knox, Jr and 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
