Lottie Driver VanAtta

Lottie Mae Driver VanAtta, age 85, of Moody formerly of Temple passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015 at a local nursing home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple. Lottie was born on September 20, 1930 in Rogers, TX the daughter of R.L. and Ada Dragoo Hill. She was a graduate of Rogers High School and a member of the Church of Christ. She worked for many years as manager of Woolworth's in Temple until their closing, was former manager of the Northwest Hills Apartments in Temple, and most recently was the office manager for Fountain of Beauty Salon and Spa in Temple. She is survived by her son Duane Jr. and wife Charlene Driver of Magnolia, TX, daughter Becky and husband Mike Marshall of Moody, grandchildren Duane Driver III, Joshua Driver and wife Crystal, Dustin Marshall and wife Ashley, Mandi Marshall, all of Moody, and Colton Driver of Georgia, great-grandchildren Lauren Driver, Lindsey Driver, and Landry Marshall all of Moody, and a dear close friend Kay Popelka of Temple. Lottie was preceded in death by her parents R.L. and Ada and a sister Doris Marie Hitt. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
