

Mable Maxine Hargus Tucker passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at a local care center. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 3:00 PM until time of Memorial Service at 4:00 PM at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Ray Crow officiating. She was born in Verden, OK on January 26, 1925 to John W. Hargus and Effie Buffer Hargus. She had attended Cement, OK schools and most recently enjoyed Rogers ISD activities. On August 5, 1944 in Cement, OK she married John F. Tucker. Mrs. Tucker and her husband and the entire Tucker family were long a part of the fabric of the Rogers Community with a variety of business interests and the best hamburgers in town. She and her husband owned Tuc's enterprises which included Tuc's Drive In, a TV shop, Tuc's Speedwash, and were instrumental in establishing the Rogers Civic Center. She loved everybody. Mrs. Tucker was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Survivors include her son Gary L. Tucker, Sr. and wife Norma of Rogers, grandsons, Gary L. Tucker, Jr. and wife Shannon of Temple, Michael Tucker and wife Tammy of Rogers, Randy Tucker and wife Sheila of Buckholts, and Jeff Tucker of Rogers, great-grandchildren, Chris Tucker and wife Taryn of Temple, Logan Tucker of Lake Charles, LA, Jamie Tucker of Temple, Tyler Tucker of Rogers, Dylan Kuehn of Temple, Dalton Kuehn of Temple, Jill Studinka and husband Tyler of Belton, Vanessa Tucker of Buckholts, McKenzie Tucker of Rogers, Megan Kuehn of Gatesville, and Devin Tucker of Temple, and eight great-great-grandchildren, Grady and Ada Rose Studinka, Hudson and Holden Tucker, Aubrey Tucker and Edward, Aaron and James Kuehn. In lieu of flowers memorials to Rogers Memorial Scholarship, 1 Eagle Dr., Rogers, TX 76569 would be appreciated.
