Margie is such a generous person.  When you visited her and Tommy,  she always had coffee and a treat, often homemade kolaches like our mothers used to make.   When it was time to go, she would give you a treat bag to take home and enjoy.  I’ll very much miss her and her kind of hospitality.

The memories that come to mind as I think of Marge will always bring a smile. She filled a place in our hearts that no one else can fill.  She was such a good neighbor and friend. Mom adored her and dad loved her Italian Creme cake!  I shall miss her stories about traveling, shopping and politics.  I’m so grateful to have known such a loving and caring woman.   

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

We were so shocked to learn of Margies sudden death.  Please know that our hearts and prayers are with you all.  I wanted to tell  you too, that Margie has  recently touched our hearts in a very special way.  She knew that we were having some very difficult troubles and reached out to us in a loving caring way.  She called to check up on us in her sincere  concern and always assured us that we were in her prayers.  Then, a miracle of sorts suddenly took place and I believe it can be directly attributed to Margie and her sweet conversations with her Savior.  I know she is safely with Him now, and tho we are sorrowed I'm happy for her and the life that she lived.                Love to you all

Margie’s funeral was a stirring tribute to a life well lived.

It was a blessing to serve in our church choir for many years seated next to my dear friend. Through the years, we have prayed for one another’s family members and rejoiced in needs met. Margie has been a tremendous witness to everyone in rising above the challenges that life brought her way.  She never let anything stop her from ministering to others. So many friends were blessed with delicious meals and encouraging words in trying times. She and Tommy both have been dear friends to my family members. I will miss her tremendously until we meet again.

So sorry to hear about Margie. She was such a sweet lady.

I will always remember our chair yoga classes - getting her chair ready for her before each class and putting it away for her. I always enjoyed her company. She will be missed.

My name is Shirley Lett and I live in Salado,Tx And work out at the Salado Fitness Center where I met Margie and her husband.  We worked out every other day for two years and did yoga together as well.   We became really good friends and looked forward to seeing each other every week!  I am still in shock when I heard of her passing  yesterday! My condolences are with all her family and so extremely saddened by this loss of a sweet friend!  May God Bless every member of her family during this difficult Time!

I have always enjoyed visiting with Margie. We were very close in earlier years over at LR Methodist church. I treasure the friendship that we had. Tommy, Brad, and Jennifer my prayers are with you and your family.

Above everything, I remember her strength to keep going even when she didn't feel well.  She tried to keep a positive attitude and said there were so many others that was worse off than herself and always concluded  " I have been so blessed".  I will forever miss her sweet spirit and love she had towards others. Yet I know, I will see her again. God bless the family at this time. You are loved. Blessings
