Mrs. Garcia-Salinas died Sunday, July 16, 2023 at her residence.
Mrs. Garcia-Salinas was born on August 3, 1938 in Mexico to the late Claudio Garcia and Epegmenia Salinas. She attended schools in Mexico and married Pablo Torres in 1958. She was a homemaker who loved cooking for her family. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Margarita was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include daughters, Reyna Torres of Mexico, Maria Torres of Dallas, Antonia Torres of Temple, Gloria Torres of Dallas, Claudia Torres of Rogers, Sylvia Torres of Eddy and Eugenia Torres of Little River; sons, Mariano Torres of Mexico, Valeriano Torres of Moody and Jose Angel Torres of Troy; sisters, Maria Garcia of Mexico and Remedius Garcia of Mexico as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5-7:00pm Friday, July 21, 2023 at the funeral home followed by recitation of the rosary at 7:00pm.
