Marjorie White Ayre, age 103, died Saturday, December 03, 2005 at a local nursing center. Visitation with the family will be 2 4 pm Sunday, December 4, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Services and burial will be in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Ayre was born February 12, 1902 in Plainsville, PA to William and Charlotte Thompson White. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard Ayre, son, Richard Ayre and daughter, Elma Ayre Ferrara. Survivors include daughters, Winifred Lawrence of Holly Hill, FL, and Midge Harbert of Temple, sisters, Florence Roxby of Inkerman, PA and Ellen Byle of Waldorf, MD and brother, Charles White of Syracuse, NY and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
