Mary Belle Hoppe

Mary Belle Hoppe, age 82, of Temple died Saturday, February 9, 2008 in a local hospital. Services and burial will be held in Paragould, Arkansas. Visitation will be 3:30 – 5:30 PM Sunday, February 10, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mrs. Hoppe was born March 25, 1925 in Advance, Missouri to Lawrence and Iva Belle (Adkins) Bollinger. She was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Conway and Paragould, Arkansas. She had been a resident of Temple for the past five years where she was a member of Western Hills Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Vernon M. Hoppe. Survivors include one daughter, Marsha Haney and husband, Neil of Temple, one son, Ken Hoppe and wife, Linda of Paragould, Arkansas, three grandchildren, Pierce Haney and wife, Delana of Cedar Park, Angela Miller of Round Rock, Justin Hoppe of Conway, Arkansas and five great-grandchildren, Shelby, Ashley, Reid, Pierce Andrew and Kirstyn. Also surviving are two sisters, Helen Jones and husband, Walter of St. Peters, Missouri, Connie London of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and one brother, Jolly Bollinger and wife, Jean of St. Louis, Missouri.
