Mary Lou was born in Prairie Dell on December 19, 1930 and attended Salado High School. She is preceded in death by Troy Hill, Sr., her husband of 68 years, her daughter Dianne, parents James and Opal Boyd, and sisters Minnie Easley, and Frankie Sailor.
She is survived by sons Charles of Temple, Troy Jr. of Leander, and daughters Charlene McKeever of Allen and Katherine Mitchell of Seattle, Wash.
Visitation will be 5-7:00pm Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Friday January 3, 2020 at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.
Mary Lou had a great laugh that filled the room. She will be greatly missed but is walking on streets of gold with her Lord and savior and loved ones. She was a good mother and wife. She had rock solid beliefs in God and loved her husband and family dearly. She loved playing the piano and singing gospel songs and is no doubt singing with the angels. Her passing leaves a hole in our hearts but we know we will see her and Dad again.
