Mary L. Bucklew, 83, of Temple, died Thursday, May 3, 2007 in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Dr. Ramiro A. Pena officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bucklew was born September 16, 1923 in Wooster, Ohio to Alexio and Maria Luigia Carafelli Rodi. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse working at King's Daughters Hospital for 18 years and then with a local nursing home until her retirement. Survivors include two sons, Peter D. Bucklew and Kenneth Alex Bucklew both of Temple; one brother, Dominic "Jim" Rodi of Orrville, Ohio; one granddaughter, Mary Davis Bucklew of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews in Temple and Ohio. She was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Honroth in 2006 and a brother, Joe Rodi in 1981.
