Mary Sue Vaughan, age 86, of Temple passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at her home in Temple. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 1st, 2017 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Minister Loyd Hall officiating. Memorial visitation will be 10 – 11 AM Wednesday prior to the service. Mrs. Vaughan was born October 28, 1930 in Ranger, Texas the daughter of Ollie S. and Ollie E. White. She is a graduate of Temple High School and Temple College and worked several years for Scott and White Hospital as an ECG Technician before starting a family. Mary Sue is survived by her daughters Brenda Herndon and husband, Jake and Melissa Prather and husband, Craig, six grandchildren Shayla Rawls and husband, Logan, Case Herndon, and Jenna, Adam, Dylan, and Julia Prather. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her parents, and a brother James White. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Christian Homes of Abilene 1202 Estates Dr., Abilene, TX 79602.
