
Memorial services for Michael Alan Palmer, 38, of Belton will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday December 23, 2005 at Temple Bible Church with Rev. Gary DeSalvo officiating. Mr. Palmer died Wednesday at his residence. He was born in Houston. He married L. Renee Rowe February 11, 1989 in Arlington, Texas. He was a recruiter for the U.S. Army, where he served for seventeen years. During the time he served in the Army he received the Army Lapel Button, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer's Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Expert Marksmanship Qualification Badge With Rifle Bar, and Expert Marksmanship Qualification Badge With Grenade Bar. He has lived in Belton for the past three years and was a member of Temple Bible Church. He was an active member and speaker of Alcoholics Anonymous. Survivors include his wife L. Renee Palmer of Belton; one son Caleb R. Palmer of Belton; two daughters Casey K. Palmer and Kaitlin (Kate) R. Palmer both of Belton, father Ken R. Palmer of Houston; mother Janice S. Palmer of Houston, stepmother Susan Palmer of Houston and one sister Lisa C. Greenspan of New York City.
