Mrs. Simcik died Saturday in a Temple Living Center.
Mrs. Simcik was born August 25, 1940 in Seaton to James Biskup and Vallie Macek Biskup. She graduated from Rogers High School in 1958 and from Mary Hardin Baylor in 1962. She married Alvin Simcik Nov. 22, 1964. She was a school teacher, having taught mostly at Scott Elementary in Temple. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Temple, Retired Teachers Association and the Temple Study Club. She lived in the Seaton and Temple area all of her life.
Survivors include her husband Alvin Simcik of Temple; son Alan Simcik of Temple; one daughter Melissa Frei of Temple; two brothers Wallace Biskup of Troy and Joe Biskup of Buckholts; one sister Barbara Folks of San Antonio and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M Wednesday. at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
