Memorial services for Patsy Ruth Hawkins, 83, of Temple will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 5, 2014, at Oak Park United Methodist Church with Rev. Johnny Miller officiating. Ms. Hawkins died Thursday in a Temple living center. Ms. Hawkins was born July 3, 1930 in Temple to Julian F. Hamil and Mildred E. Jensen Hamil. She graduated from Temple High School in 1947. She worked as a Business Counselor at Scott and White Hospital and then worked in the Credit Office at Dillards. She was a member of Oak Park United Methodist Church, Sarah Circle and Garden Plotters Club. Ms. Hawkins was preceded in death by one son Byron F. Hawkins and one daughter Rexanna Hawkins. Survivors include her daughter Sheri Grace Harmon and her husband Kyle of Mansfield; two sisters Peggy Berryhill of Edna and Mary Lou Bruce of Bryan and two grandchildren Gage Ray Harmon and Grace Hamil Harmon and "granddaughter" Angela Lynne Parificato-Harris.
