Funeral services for Peggy Jean Hanson, 39, of Waco will be held at 2:30 P.M. Monday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Verle Pilant officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Hanson died Friday in a Waco Hospital. Mrs. Hanson was born in LaPlata, Maryland. She lived in the Temple-Belton area before moving to Waco two years ago. She married Vincent Bradley Hanson August 15, 2009. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was an exceptional seamstress and worked with Arts and Crafts. Survivors include her husband Vincent B. Hanson of Waco; two sons Cody Allen Ray Malina of Temple and Martin Allen Durfee Jr. of Belton; three daughters Sabrina Nicole Stark of Temple, Taylor Elizabeth Durfee of Belton and Dakota Deann Durfee of Temple; two sisters Margaret Lane and Elizabeth Birch both of Tennessee; her father Sonny Lane of Tennessee; her mother Betty Days of Temple; her grandmother Margaret Groneck of Temple and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
