
Mr. Raymond Farrell Mr. Raymond Farrell, 86, of Temple, Texas died Monday May 29, 2006 in a Temple Hospital. Services for Mr. Farrell will be 10AM Thursday June 1, 2006 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with Rev. Mark Wilburn officiating. Masonic rites will follow in the chapel. Interment with full military honors will be Friday June 2, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Mr. Farrell was born in Meridian, Texas the son of Enoch H. and Fannie Arnold Farrell. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of W.W. II and Korea having served as a Tech Sgt. He retired after 26 years of service with Loffland Brothers as a diesel mechanic. He married the former Christine Samson July 9, 1953 in Clearwater, Florida. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He also was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Temple. Mr. Farrell is survived by his wife Christine Farrell of Temple, Texas and by four daughters Sheran Scott, Donna Thompson, Carla Elliott, all of St. Augustine Florida and by Valdenora Fortner of Gainesville, Florida. He is also survived one brother Rear Admiral (ret.) Eugene Farrell of San Diego, California, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A family visitation will be held from 6 until 7PM Wednesday May 31, 2006 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
