Robert Michael Sloan, age 69 of Temple, died Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at a local care center. Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Private family burial will follow at Liberty Community Cemetery in Milam County. The family will receive visitors from 3-4:00pm Saturday, January 15, 2022 prior to the funeral service.
Mr. Sloan was born on October 17, 1952 in Temple, Texas to the late Robert Garland Sloan and Mary Nita Swift Sloan. Robert loved the Dallas Cowboys and Elvis Presley. He brought much joy to all that knew him. Mike had a beautiful smile, contagious laugh as well as a wicked sense of humor. Mike will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents.
