Mr. Soliz was born in Moody to Raynado Soliz and Maria Sauceda Soliz. He lived in Waco most of his life and has been a machine operator for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for thirty three years. He was a member of El Buen Pastor United Methodist Church in Moody. Survivors include his son Robert Soliz Jr. and his wife Marisa of Houston; his daughter Melissa Ann Martinez of Fort Worth; three brothers Herman Soliz of Fort Worth, Johnny Soliz of Texas City and Benson Soliz of Moody; one sister Mary Tamez of Temple; four grandchildren Robert Soliz III, Alexis Soliz, Alyssa Martinez and Serenity Soliz.
