Born on October 2, 1980, in Temple, TX, Rocky was the middle child of Eloise Taylor. He graduated from Belton High School in 1999. He went on to explore career choices early in life and finally made a career at LJT in Temple, TX.
Rocky often found enjoyment in fishing, playing coed softball, barbecuing and getting together with his family and friends. He was a devoted husband and father, who rarely missed his family's school and sports events.
Rocky was known for his cheerful personality and big smile. He was always looking for a way to make you laugh or smile.
Rocky is survived by his wife Jessica Lynn Taylor and his children, Ryan Summers, & Anthony Ross of Temple, Ella Tomlinson of Salado and Addison Taylor of Temple. His Mother Eloise Taylor of Belton, Eldest sister Felicia Youngblood & her husband Larry and their children Jordan and Brayden Youngblood of Temple, His youngest sister Ashlee Trevino, her husband David and two children Isaac and Aiden Trevino of Academy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Marcos and Ramona Sauseda
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2025, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple. A meal will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Temple Bible Church in Temple. A Go Fund Me account has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses.
Rocky Lee Taylor will be remembered for his deepened love for his family, facetious attitude, his light-hearted teasing personality, and above all else a good family man.
