Rolf Adolph Schneider

Funeral services for Rolf Adolph Schneider, 84, of Zabcikville will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Salem Lutheran Church with Rev. Gnana Segaran officiating. Burial will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery. Mr. Schneider died Wednesday at his residence. Mr. Schneider was born Oct. 26, 1924 in Bell County to Gustav Schneider and Margarete Schneider. He lived in Zabcikville all of his life and attended Cyclone School. He served in the Army during World War II having seen action in Belgium, Germany and France. He married Jewel Stephenson July 13, 1948 at Salem Lutheran Church. He was a crane operator for Alcoa for many years having retired from there. He was also a farmer and rancher. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church where he was a choir member. Survivors include his son Curtis Schneider of Beverly Hills, Florida; two daughters Karen Koslosky of Rosebud and Kathy Easterwood of Rogers; one sister Louise Beilamowicz of Airville; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church or to the charity of choice. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home.
