Services for Sandra M. Guthrie, 72, of Belton is being planned for a later date. Mrs. Guthrie died Sunday in a Temple Hospital. Mrs. Guthrie was born June 2, 1940 in Quemado, Texas to Charles Perry and Lois Pemberton Perry. She graduated from Irran High School. She married Thurman Guthrie Sept. 13, 1957. She moved to Belton fifty five years ago and was a Florist having worked at Heartfield Florist, Woods Flowers and Bloomingfield's. She attended the Assembly of God. Survivors include her husband Thurman Guthrie of Belton; one son Mike Guthrie and his wife Jeanne of Belton; one daughter Cindy Helms and her husband Bob of Belton; three brothers Billy Perry of Quemado, Jack Perry of Houston and Wendell Perry of Houston; one sister Renee Logston of Snyder; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Scanio-Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
