SCOTT W. ERSKINE, 56, passed away peacefully at his home in San Antonio. He was born on November 17, 1965, in Okinawa, where his father was serving in the Army. As a special needs individual, he was mentally challenged throughout his life. He was a happy person and enjoyed being all that he could be. He spent the last 20 years in the home of, and being cared for, by Sonia Artavia in San Antonio. Her loving care for Scott was instrumental in the happy life that he was able to live and is so appreciated by his family.
He is survived by his parents, COL (Ret) John Erskine (Gayle), of The Villages, FL; his brother, Jeff Erskine (Crystal), of Arnold, MD and his brother John Thompson (Helyna) of Houston, TX ; his birth mother, Mary Frances Greene of San Antonio, Tx and many nieces and nephews.
