Mrs. McIver was born in Temple to Jackson Davis and Vera Nichols Davis. She married Elwin McIver Oct. 6, 1964. She lived in Temple most of her life, except for a short while that she lived in Garland. She had worked for Texas Instruments. She was a member of Sweet Adelines and Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Elwin McIver of Temple; three sons Shawn McIver of Troy, Shane McIver of Temple and Randy McIver of Columbus; one daughter Robin McIver of Corpus Christi; two brothers Charles Davis of Temple and Gary Davis of Temple; four sisters Betty Jo Calhoun of Troy, Sandra Michna of Lorena, Carolyn Dye of Troy and Pat Davis of Temple and five grandchildren.
