

Graveside services for Stanley Edwin Zetak, 86, of Belton will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday October 19, 2015 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Larry Zabcik and Rev. Mark Labaj officiating. Mr. Zetak died Tuesday in a Temple hospital. Mr. Zetak was born, January 14, 1929, in Granger to Paul M. Zetak and Frances Bravenec Zetak. He graduated from Granger High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Elizabeth Alice Maly September 4, 1954. He was a Field Engineer for the Texas Department of Highways and Transportation for 31 years, having retired in 1985. He lived in Taylor for 46 years and in Temple for 15 years. He had been a member of Granger Brethren Church, Taylor Brethren Church and Temple Brethren Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Bertha Malik and one brother Cleo Zetak. Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Zetak of Belton, two sons Scott M. Zetak of Brownwood and Kelly W. Zetak and his wife Susan C. of Franklin, Tennessee; one daughter Paula E. Vasek and her husband Gary L. of Temple and three granddaughters Lesli E. Vasek of Denver, Colorado, Emily A. Vasek of Plano, Texas and Claire C. Zetak of Nashville, Tennessee.
