Larry was born in Temple, Texas on October 7, 1950 to Dorothy “Jean” Rose and Vernon S. Rose. Larry served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of the Temple Elks Lodge. He grew up going to car races and was passionate about it for his entire life. He also loved watching football and was his happiest when he was surrounded by his many friends and family.
Larry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Beverly, daughter, Shauna Muniz and husband Manuel of Arlington, step-daughter, Sonia Belanger of Arlington, and four grandchildren – Dylan and Cole Muniz, Katherine Belanger, and Michael Schnick. He is also survived by his brother, Ronnie Rose and wife Roberta of Little River-Academy. He is preceded n death by his parents, Vernon and Jean Rose.
