Walburga "Connie" Wilson, age 85 of Moffat, died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. The family will receive visitors from 5-7:00 PM Monday, September 1, 2014 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Walburga Agnes Wilson was born in Teuschnitz, Germany on May 24, 1929 to the late Josef Grunbeck and Maria Froba Grunbeck. She married Charles "Digger" Wilson in Bamberg, Germany on July 1, 1971 and he preceded her in death on March 19, 2014. Mrs. Wilson attended schools in Germany. She has lived in Temple since 1972 and she loved gardening. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son. Survivors include a nephew, Urban Knauer of Germany; nieces, Anita Tietze, Brigitte Eulert-Wolf, Inge Olsman, Ingrid Mangold and Marianne Schilcke all of Germany.
