
Mr. William "Bill" Pustka 75, of Temple died Thursday May 8, 2008 at a Temple hospital. Mass of Christian burial for Mr. Pustka will be at 9:00 AM Monday, May 12, 2008 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton with Rev. Dick Hudson as celebrant. Private family burial will be held later. Bill was born June 19, 1932 in West, Texas the son of Alphonse and Albina Kabella Pustka. He was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton. He was a 46 year member of the Knights of Columbus and a past Grand Knight. He was a charter member of Council #7196 Knights of Columbus. He was on the building committee for the building of St. Luke Catholic Church in Temple as well as at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton. He was a member of the Belton Jaycees and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Texas Stainless in 1996. Mr. Pustka is survived by his wife Claudia Pustka, six children, David Mark, Paul, Susan, Jeff and Matt. He is also survived by five stepchildren, 35 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also surviving are two sisters, Joyce Sheppard and Donna Jez. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jo Vaughn Pustka and two brothers, Richard Pustka and Alfonso Pustka. The body will lie in state at the church Sunday afternoon with a visitation starting at 5:00 PM and a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Christ the King Family Life Center, 210 East 24th Street, Belton, Texas 76513.
