Mr. Taylor was born in Massachusetts to William Brandon Taylor and Laura Maxine Langenbrunner Taylor. He served in the U.S. Army. He moved to Bell County in 1974. He married Debra Sue Hargett July 31, 1993. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Belton and worked as a truck driver for Stampede Creek Transportation and Dixon Paving. Survivors include his wife Debra Taylor of Temple; three sons Michael Shane Nichols of Austin, William Michael Taylor of California, and Ryan Cole Nichols of Houston; four daughters Tina Rutledge and her husband Michael of Round Rock, Tera Beth Taylor of Temple, Elisha Annette Taylor of Temple and Brittlyn Belle Taylor of Troy and two grandchildren.
