

Wilma Anna Limmer Ohlenbusch, of Temple, Texas died Tuesday, July 26, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 6, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Temple with Pastor Dana Wilhelmsen officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Priddy, Texas. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple. Wilma was born April 16, 1916 in Priddy, Texas, to Frederick Wilhelm and Hilda Gromatzky Limmer. She graduated from Priddy High School in 1934. She married Albert Ohlenbusch on June 7, 1936. They resided in Lubbock, Texas, for 35 years where they owned and operated Ohlenbusch Oil Company, a retail and wholesale gasoline and oil distributorship. They moved to Oglesby, Texas, in 1971, and operated Circle O cattle ranch until Albert’s death in 2001. Wilma then lived in Temple until her death. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she participated in the Large Print Center. Wilma will be remembered for her unselfish love and nurturing care for her family and friends. She was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed gardening and needlework and was well-known for her cooking expertise. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, two daughters, Janelle Shaud and Judy Ohlenbusch, three brothers, and three sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Roxie Dippel and husband Glenn of Temple, Ginger Walker of Las Vegas, NV, and husband Mel Walker of Beaver, UT, a son-in-law, General John Shaud of McLean, Virginia, eight grandchildren; Patricia Francis, Jim Shaud, Katherine Tofigh, Lennis Dippel, Douglas Dippel, Tim Dippel, Julie Taylor and Leslie Sullivan; and twenty great-grandchildren, Joey and Katherine Francis, Jamie, Sam, Ana and Ryan Shaud, James, Luke and Jason Tofigh, Courtney, Kayla, Matthew, Lexi, Jessica, Sofi, and Adi Dippel, Shane, Kyle, Max and Luke Sullivan. She was also lovingly known as “Aunt Wilma” to 33 nieces and nephews.
