Ann M. Montanaro, 83, of Beachwood,NJ passed away on Sept. 2, 2015. Born and raised in Jersey City, she’s lived in Beachwood for the past 18 years. Ann was a 1980 graduate of Hudson County Community College with a degree in Applied Health. She worked as an ophthalmologist technician for 25 years before retiring 10 years ago.
Ann is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Jeffrey A.; her son Jeffrey and Janet Montanaro of South Plainfield; two daughters Karen and Tom Sweeney of Brick and Janis and Andre Hodges of Old Bridge; her brother John and Barbara Barone of Lavallette and also 7 grandchildren, Sabina, Marisa, Alexis, Alison, Alicia, Christopher and Kaitlyn.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday Sept. 8th from 5 to 8 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral service will take place at 7:30 PM. Burial will be on Wed at 10 AM at New Jersey Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
