Anthony Dikovicky, age 94, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 20, 2022. A lifelong resident of New Jersey, Tony was born and raised in South River, lived in Roselle Park for more than 35 years where he was a member of the Community United Methodist Church congregation, and moved to Toms River 23 years ago.
Tony was a manager for General Motors in Linden for 31 years and was a graduate of Susquehanna University where he was a member of the football team, playing for legendary coach Amos Alonzo Stagg. He also proudly served his country in the US Army, traveling to Japan following WWII.
During his retirement Tony took up golf, learned to square dance and enjoyed traveling to visit his family. He was also an avid football fan.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Ellen (nee Wilkins), his son Robert Dixon and wife Carole, grandson Adam and wife Euree, granddaughters Cameron and Cassidy, and great-grandson Gideon.
Cremation will be private. Final interment will be at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
