Born in West Orange, she was a lifelong resident before settling in Ortley Beach 20 years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Risse in 1998; and by her son, Francis "Scott" Risse in 2014.
Surviving is her daughter, Lori Maisey.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 from 10-11am at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11am. Interment will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lynn's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
