Betty Ann Gannon

Betty Ann Gannon age 59 of Toms River died Thursday May 23rd. She was the Community Program Administrator at Ocean County College. Betty Ann was a parishioner of St. Joseph R. C. Church, Toms River, past President of St. Joseph Grammar School P.T.A. and she volunteered at Monsignor Donovan High School, Toms River. A graduate of Red Bank Catholic and Saint Leo University, she was raised in Long Branch before moving to Toms River in 1985. “She was a one of a kind woman who will be deeply missed by her family and friends”. She is predeceased by her parents Frank and Rose Romano. Surviving is her husband of 30 years Thomas G., 3 sons Thomas G., Jr. and his wife Kristen, James and Andrew, 2 sisters Patricia Mancini of Long Branch and Theresa Simon of Hubertus, WI, her mother in law Elaine Gannon of Ocean Grove. Visiting will be Tuesday from 2-5 & 6-9 pm at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Rd. Toms River. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 10 AM Wednesday at St. Joseph R. C. Church, Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Catharine’s Cemetery, Sea Girt.
