Carl J Pauli

Carl J. Pauli, 83, of Toms River passed away on Wednesday August 6th, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Fort Lee, NJ he resided in Dumont, NJ, Sussex County, and Wood-Ridge, NJ prior to moving to Toms River in 2004. He worked as a Union Painter in Paterson, NJ for over 35 years. Carl enjoyed gardening, watching the Yankees and Mets games and loved animals. He was a Navy Veteran and Life Member of the VFW Post 10061. He was predeceased by his parents Carl and Alice and brother Robert. Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years Georgette, daughter Doreen and husband Allen Continanza of Barnegat, NJ, son Scott and wife Maria Pauli of Mahwah, NJ, grandchildren Daniella, Nicolette, Christopher and Nicholas, sisters Barbara and husband James Melvin of Florida and Alice and husband Jerry Bowman of Arizona and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday August 10th, 2014 from 1-6pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Funeral Service will be offered at 4pm during visitation. Interment will be Tuesday August 12th, 2014 at 1pm at the New Jersey Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. Friends and Family will gather at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home at 11am.
