Carmine “Brother” DelSordi, 82, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Thursday August 14, 2025 at Community Medical Center while surrounded by his loving family. Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Irvington, NJ and then Union, NJ before moving to Toms River in 1997. He had worked in various capacities in the construction industry for over 50 years. Carmine loved family gatherings, Atlantic City, Golf and was an avid NY Giants Football fan. He will be missed dearly.
Carmine is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Christine Cologna DelSordi; his daughters Leah LaManna and her husband Joseph and Tina Joseph and her husband Paul; his grandchildren Michael Hunt and his fiancé Nicole Pesce and Joseph LaManna; his sisters Lisa and Angela DelSordi; his brother Philip DelSordi (Barbara) and his nephew Lenny DelSordi.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday August 17, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday August 18, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church 130 St, Maximilian Lane Toms River, NJ 08757. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery 56 Cedar Grove Road Toms River, NJ 08753.
