Carolina Regn

Carolina Regn, age 102 of Toms River, and formerly of Bloomfield died Tuesday November 9th in her home. She was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe R. C. Church in Berkeley Twp. Born in Burgau, Germany, she came to the United States in 1929 and lived in Bloomfield for 50 years before moving to Holiday Heights in 1995. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph and her great grandson Walter, Jr. Surviving are her 3 daughters Hildegard Cox and her husband Walter of Convent, NJ, Carol Forster and her husband the late James of Toms River, NJ, Elizabeth Bunger and her husband Bernhard of Piscataway, NJ,;7 grandchildren Patricia, Diane, Walter, Cathy, Lisa, Alicia and Erin; 7 great grandchildren Christy, Joseph, Caitlin, Gabriella, Anthony, Chelsie and Miranda; and her sister Anni Findler of Burgau, Germany.

Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd. in Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 am Friday at St. Maximilian Kolbe R. C. Church in Berkeley Twp. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Upper Montclair, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to your favorite charity.
