I know Dennis to be such a hard worker and his love for cruising! I had the privilege to go on about 3 cruises w/ him and Patty and had such a great time w/ them both! Before one of the cruises departing NJ we drove by the Statue of Liberty & drove thru a park just admiring the local attractions that most people take for granted are just always there & people watching those special individuals that God likes to entertain us with. My fav memory of him was when we went on a self-led excursion to a light house and it seemed like a 10 mile walk & up 20,000,00 steps up to the top of the lighthouse to the lookout and I could barely walk, him & Patty were speedwalking uphill the whole way and I could barely keep up and contemplated hitchhiking back to the ship but he encouraged me to peak to the top of the lighthouse. He & Patty flew across the country to attend my wedding in Vegas.  You are not forgotten Dennis and you will be remembered and missed!!

Dennis came into my life when both he & I were going through divorces. We bonded instantly & became inseparable. We soon became best friends & started building a life together. Dennis was a hard worker who worked 6 days a week seldom taking time off. He was a caring & generous person who never expected anything in return for helping others. Dennis was a quiet man that had a heart of gold. He was great to my children who hold special memories of him. I am so happy for the 41 years we had together & the memories we shared. My heart may be broken 💔, but knowing you're not suffering anymore gives me peace. Caring for you this last year & being by your side as you took your last breath was hard yet comforting because YOU were finally at peace. RIP my love until we are together again.

Dennis was a kind, caring, and wonderful person, who I’m proud to call my brother. We shared a close and special bond, both as children and all through our adult lives. As children, we were always there for each other through the hard times as well as the good times. 
Dennis was a hard worker who always put his strong work ethics into everything he did. When Dennis was younger he worked at the Hess station where he met a guy named Al. Dennis introduced me to Al who eventually became my husband. Al found Dennis to be a great friend as well as a kind and wonderful brother-in-law. So, when Dennis and Patty finally moved to Toms River, we were extremely happy to have them close to us.
Once he was settled in, he and I used to meet up in the mornings to walk and talk. Those were the times we shared many personal and interesting conversations that will always hold a special place in my heart. 
He was always there for me, whether it was to lend a helping hand or just a sympathetic ear. No one could have asked for a better brother! 
Dennis was a great and generous uncle to both my sons and my grandchildren. They have nothing but fond and precious memories of him.
It was hard to watch Dennis suffer during his struggle with cancer. I take solace in the fact that he’s at eternal peace, and in God’s hands. Love, Cooker

Uncle Denny 
Where do I begin? You were the one that started at all my love for the casino my love for Atlantic City. My memory of going with you to Atlantic City. Well, we still had to carry buckets and buckets of quarters around with us and once my machine hit 100 bucks or my bucket was full you would take it and go cash it in so I didn’t put it all back in the machine. You were truly one of a kind the kindest person I ever met and you will dearly be missed rest, easy uncle Dennis until we meet again

Dennis....A good friend and neighbor...Like the brother I never had. Dennis was the " Neighborhood watch".  He cared and helped everyone. Will sure miss you on the Porch when the Yankees baseball season returns. I will be yelling and cheering for the both of us!

One of my favorite memories of Dennis is when I first bought my house and had Thanksgiving dinner.    He stole my plate of food and had me convinced that I ate it.    He also disguised.his voice to sound just like my husband ( who was out of the country ).  Dennis was great at disguising his voice just like he fooled my brother Bill and convinced him he was from the cable company.    I always looked at Dennis as my Brother in law.    RIP

A great man and the best uncle anyone could ever ask for. Throughout my entire life he was always there for my family and I for anything and everything. He was, and always will be, a vital part of this family. He was an inspiration in so many ways to me growing up that he has helped shaped me into the man I am today. I am so grateful for having him my life. To Uncle Dennis, thank you. You will be forever loved and deeply missed.

I got to know Dennis about 40 years ago when he started dating my sister Patti. He was not only a friend but was like a brother. He was always concerned about me checking issues with my car when he heard noises coming from my car. I last saw Dennis in November and even though he was sick, he told Patti, "You need to tell your brother to have the breaks checked because they are squeeking".  That was the kind of man Dennis was, always conserned about others even though he was fighting. RIP. You will be missed but not forgotten.
