Doris M. Jones

Doris M. Jones, born on July 29, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 15, 2025, at the age of 95. She was a resident of Toms River, New Jersey. Doris had lived in Hendersonville, North Carolina prior to moving to Toms River 20 years ago. She worked in the Banking Industry for many years. She was a Communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River.

Doris enjoyed entertaining her family and her many friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be missed by all.

Doris is predeceased by her husband Edward in 2006 and is survived by her three children; Marilyn Craparotta and her husband Vincent, Edward Jones Jr., and his wife Maria, Jacqueline Lecarpentier and her husband Richard, her nine grandchildren, Maria (Nick), Vincent (Emily), Rocco (Melissa), Marco, Alexandra (Justin), Kathryn (Max), Rachel, Lauren (Kenny) and Ricky (Danielle), and her eight great grandchildren. Alos surviving are a host of loving nieces, nephews and extended family.

A Visitation for Doris will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow to St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
