Doris M. Mangini

She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Mangini, Sr., her daughter, Patricia (Mangini) Bartley, her son-in-law, Edward Bartley Sr., and her granddaughter, Nicole Bartley.

Doris was born in South Orange, NJ. She was the daughter of Thomas Francis Foran and Elizabeth Daly Koch.

Doris worked for Ronson doing light assembly work; however, her main responsibility was the care and well being of her two children, Eugene, Jr., and Patricia.

She was active in the Adult Community of Holiday City where she lived, playing bocce, enjoying card games and puzzles. She also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City to play her favorite slots.

Doris was born into a family of seven sisters, Katherine, Ann, Jean, Patricia, Margaret, Dorothy, Barbara; and one brother Thomas.

Doris is survived by her son, Eugene Mangini, Jr. and his wife , Joan. She has seven grandchildren; Jeanette Haley and her husband Bryan of Buckeye, AZ; Jaime Jones and her husband Greg of Tinton Falls, NJ; Michael Mangini of Toms River, NJ; Edward Bartley, Jr. and Lisa Bartley of Roselle Park, NJ; John Bartley and Michelle of Kenilworth, NJ and Michael Bartley. In addition, she is survived by seven great-grandchildren: William (Izzy), Thomas, Brandon, Kayla, Quinn, Cassidy and Rocco.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday Sept. 6, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday Sept. 7, 2023 at 9:30 am. Burial will follow at Brigadier General William C.
