Dorothy Dottie L. Kogel Sohlgren

Dorothy L. Sohlgren, 67, of Berkeley Township died on Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Toms River. Born on December 27, 1942 in Bloomfield, NJ to Louis and Norma Kogel, she resided in Nutley and Bloomfield prior to moving to Berkeley Township in 2003.

Mrs. Sohlgren was a customer service representative for Pental in Fairfield, NJ for 15 years before her retirement in 1999. She was a communicant of St. Joseph RC Church in Toms River. She was also a member of the Holy Rosary Society and the Eucharist Adoration Society at St. Joseph’s Church and a member of the Pro Life Society in Toms River.

Mrs. Sohlgren is survived by her husband, Russell A. Sohlgren of Berkeley Township, her daughter, Diana McPhee and her husband Joseph of Toms River and her two grandchildren, Stephen and Brianna McPhee.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 29, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10AM at the St. Joseph RC Church in Toms River. Cremation will be private.
