Frances L. Corrao

Frances L Corrao, born on October 15, 1937, in Montclair, New Jersey, passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 88. Frances was born and raised in West Orange, New Jersey. She relocated to the Holiday City South Section of Toms River with her beloved late husband, Jimmy, in 2011. Frances and Jim met in high school, and their love story began there. They were married in 1958 and raised three children in their hometown of West Orange. During her children's early school years, Frances worked in the school cafeteria kitchen, preparing and serving meals to all the children, including her own. Later in life, she embarked on a second career as a legal secretary for several prestigious law firms in Northern New Jersey, retiring in 2009. Frances was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She loved her garden and was a fan of the Oakland Raiders. Heaven has gained a new angel as Frances is now reunited with her husband, daughter, and all her loved ones who departed before her. Rest in peace, our dear angel Frances. Wife of the late husband James "Jimmy" Corrao, and mother of the late Patti, she is survived by her son Jim and his wife Marlene; her grandsons, Jon and Mark Grimm, Michele Corrao and other extended family members. Relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, NJ 08755. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home.
