Frederick Ralph Cucolo

Frederick Ralph Cucolo, age 95, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at the Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. Fred was born on April 27, 1929 in Newark, NJ as the son of the late Theresa (Zecca) and Louis Cucolo. He was raised in Belleville, and resided in Bloomfield for most of his life until retiring to Toms River nearly 15 years ago. Fred proudly served with the US Marine Corps. He later retired from a career as a truck driver. He is fondly remembered for his visiting of the local diners throughout the state and his ability to be recognized by and remember the local patrons. Brother of the late, Angelo Cucolo and Louis Cucolo, Jr.; he survived by his children, Frederick L. Cucolo and Doreen Norris and her husband Jerry; brother, Larry Cucolo; a sister, Linda Moyer; his grandchildren, Daniel Levine, Marc Levine, Jason Norris, Dana Cucolo Rubestello and Michael Cucolo and 9 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his lifelong companion Patricia Zarro and her late son Edward Zarro. He is also survived by Patricia's children, John and Maria Zarro; and several other extended family and friends. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. His memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
