George Arthur Jennings, 75, passed away on March 29, 2026. Born July 19, 1950, in Newark, New Jersey, George was the son of the late Arthur and Dorothy Jennings. He grew up in Westfield, NJ, where he became an Eagle Scout and graduated from Westfield High School in 1968.
George went on to graduate from Seton Hall University. He was employed by Proctor & Gamble and later devoted 32 years of service as a social worker with Union County Social Services, where he cared for senior citizens and families. In 2012, George moved to Toms River, New Jersey.
George enjoyed spending time at the beach.
George is survived by his brother Gordon H. Jennings and sister in law Diane L. Jennings. He also leaves many lifelong friends who will miss him very much.
Cremation will be private.
