

Gloria Hauge, 85, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away on December 22, 2025. Born on July 7, 1940, in Hackensack, New Jersey, Gloria was raised in Nutley, where she grew up on Kings Street. She carried the values of family, strength, and love with her throughout her life and later made her home in Toms River. Affectionately known to many as “Babe,” Gloria was a beloved matriarch whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and comfort to those around her. Her love for her family was unwavering, and she took great pride in every generation that followed her. Christmas was especially meaningful to Gloria, a time she cherished for bringing her family together. She found her greatest joy in holiday traditions, shared meals, laughter, and creating lasting memories with those she loved most. Gloria also found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved the beach, where she felt most at peace, enjoyed dirty martinis, and had a lifelong love of Elvis Presley, whose music always brought a smile to her face and often filled her home. Gloria is survived by her sons, Anthony Bocchino and his wife, Denise, and Charles Bocchino; her grandchildren, Anthony, Gabriella, and Julia; and her great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Anthony, GiannaMarie, and Vincenzo. She is also lovingly remembered by her nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as many lifelong friends. Gloria will be remembered for her kindness, her resilience, and the deep love she shared with her family. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. A Mass in Gloria’s memory will be celebrated on Tuesday December 30th 2025 at 12:00pm at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 130 St Maximilian Lane Toms River NJ 08757. The family welcomes all who knew and loved her to join in honoring her life and legacy.
