Herbert J. Kunz Jr., 72, of Toms River passed away on Wednesday August 14th, 2013. Born in Passaic, NJ, he resided in Rutherford and Howell prior to moving to Toms River in 2003. He was the owner of Excel Fabrications in Howell, NJ for many years and was a Board Member of Silver Ridge Westerly in Toms River. Herbert was an Army Veteran serving for 18 years. He was predeceased by his loving wife, of 48 years, Phyllis, his brother Thomas and sister Marilyn. Surviving are his daughter Jodi and husband Mort Dixon of Freehold, son Herbie and wife Jennifer Kunz of Sea Girt, siblings Richard, Donald, Carolyn, Catherine, John and Ronald and grandchildren Allison, Carli, Hayden, Brandon and Olivia. Visitation will be Friday August 16th, 2013 from 1-3pm & 6-8pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Funeral Service will be offered on Saturday August 17th, 2013 at 9:45am at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home. Mausoleum entombment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery in Lakewood, NJ.
