John Holewka, age 72, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, February 24, 2025 at his residence. John was born in San Antonio, TX as the son of the late John and Dolores Holewka. He was a resident of Fairlawn, NJ for most of his life, before moving to Toms River 2 years ago. John was a fan of the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed visiting Atlantic City, NJ. John loved spending time with his beloved dog Tyler. Husband of the late Deborah J. Holewka, he is survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. His graveside funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025 in the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ. Those attending should meet directly at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
