Joseph C. Widejko, 70, of Toms River, NJ (formerly of Jersey City) passed away on Wednesday November 2, 2016. Born in Jersey City, he was a lifelong resident there and lived in Wood Ridge, NJ for 10 years before moving to Toms River 8 years ago. Joe worked as a brokerage manager for Paine Webber for 25 years and then at World First Financial, Inc. before his retirement.
Joseph was predeceased by his son Christopher Widejko. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Juanita (nee Mayo); his son, Joseph M. Widejko; two daughters, Tara M. Gallagher and her husband Bill and Chris Ann Widejko; a brother Charles Widejko; two sisters Cheryl Morris and Florence Widejko; and his two granddaughters Sofia and Emily.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday November 5, 2016 from 1 to 5 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755 where a funeral service will take place at 4:30 PM. Cremation will be private. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.quinn-hoppingfh.com.
