Born in New Brunswick, NJ, he resided in East Brunswick for most of his life prior to settling in Jackson in 2000.
A graduate of East Brunswick High School, he went on to study at a technical school and worked as a data communications installer for many years. A sports enthusiast, he especially the NY Jets and thoroughbred horse racing. Larry was also a true patriot and will be remembered for loving his country. Larry was a third degree member of the St. Joseph's Council #4969 Knights of Columbus.
He was predeceased by his father, Lawrence A. Pfeifer, Sr., in 1990; and his loving fiancee, Theresa McGeehan in December 2020.
Surviving are his mother, Barbara Pfeifer; his siblings: Kathleen Pfeifer Spurling and her husband, Malcolm Spurling, James Pfeifer and his wife, Valerie Pfeifer, Carol Tuite and her husband James Tuite, Kevin Pfeifer, Kathleen (Dennis) Renales, H. James (Mary) McGeehan, Margaret (Marc) Brunetti, Edward (Linda) McGeehan, Thomas (Brenda) McGeehan, Robert (Rosie) McGeehan, and Mary (Christopher) Modeszto; his many loving nieces and nephews; and his two dogs, Missy and Kenzie.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 12:30PM St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Burial will immediately follow.
